We are back open on a walk-in basis! Masks are optional at this time, but that is subject to change based on the pandemics path. Our dog kennels are still closed, but we have an adoptable pets binder for potential adopters to view. Our staff is happy to bring up any animal you are interested in that may be a good fit for your family. We would like to thank everyone for their support during the pandemic and we hope *fingers crossed* that we can continue to move forward and Covid doesn't knock us back again!

The Morgan County Humane Society has been working hard on figuring out exactly how to open up to the public in a safe manner, while following the CDC guidelines. For the foreseeable future we will limit the amount of people able to come into the building, require that all patrons wear a mask, and ask that you call to make an appointment beforehand if possible. Virtual viewing can be done on our Available Dogs & Cats page. You can contact us via email at adoptions@mchumanesoc.org or call us at 765-349-9177. We will require all applications to be preapproved before scheduling a meet and greet with a potential adopter. Keep an eye out for our stray pets posts on Morgan County, IN Lost & Found Pets on Facebook. We will have signs posted on our doors reminding you to wear a mask before entry into our facility. Masks will not be provided by the shelter. At this time, we are opening starting May 18th from 12 to 5 on Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, Friday, and Saturday. This may change from time to time to adhere to guidelines and recommendations for the COVID-19 pandemic. Please know that we are eager to get back to normal as well.
