Spay & Neuter Ordinance Petition
. . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . .

APPROACH ON THE PETITION

1. Are you a citizen of Morgan County?

2. Do you realize the overpopulation problem in Morgan County and how many tax dollars are used for this problem?

3. Did you know that other states have saved tax money and animal lives due to spay/neuter laws and ordinances? (Wisconsin, Michigan, New Hampshire, Maine, New York, Massachusetts)

4. What this law will do is require all pet owners to have their pet spay/neutered. If this is passed, the humane society will help provide assistance to those who cannot afford this service for citizens of the community through the Bob Barker Grant and Pets Alive Grant.

5. By signing this, you will help make a difference in the community by saving tax dollars, saving animal lives, protecting the community from dog maulings, and make Morgan County “a pet friendly community”.

6. Thank them for their support and ask them if they need help getting their dog/cat spay/neutered and provide literature for financial assistance and Pets Alive flyer for them to contact for help.
