   Humane Society Volunteer Opportunities
The Humane Society depends upon volunteers and members for more than financial contributions. The fact is, we could not exist without our volunteers!
*Thank You!*
Our shelter takes in hundreds of dogs, cats, puppies, and kittens. Feeding, cleaning, and treating this many animals requires some skill, a lot of patience, and true dedication. The staff at MCHS has these and other fine qualities, yet there just are not enough hours in the day for them to adequately care for every animal at the shelter by themselves. This is where our volunteers become priceless.
Participation with the Humane Society is extremely rewarding in so many ways. If you have read this far, then surely you sense the inner desire to help the animals somehow.
Here is a listing of some activities volunteers perform at our shelter. Please look closely to see if there is something of interest here you would like to assist with. You may follow up with an email to us, or a phone call, to find out when would be the best time to come in and be briefed on the details for the activity of your choice.
